Tomás Páez

Ph.D. and M.Phill from University College London, Sociologist from the Central University of Venezuela where he works as a Full Professor. He was a Director General of Planning at the Ministry of Development (1989-1991). He is the coordinator and part of the team responsible for the project "Entrepreneurship of the Venezuelan diaspora." Since 2012, coordinated the First global study of the Venezuelan diaspora. He is the author of numerous articles on the diaspora: MPI (2017), Freedom House, and "The Venezuelan diaspora: another impending crisis" (2017) "Latin American Diaspora in Public Diplomacy," published by Palgrave McMillan (2020).
