Tofa Amanda Moors Mailei

Amanda is the Co-founder and Co-chair of the Australian Pasifika Educators Network. She is an educator and equity practitioner with a career spanning almost 20 years in Australia and Aotearoa, New Zealand education sectors. Her ancestral homeland is Samoa and she’s spent the last decade managing equity access and pathways at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Amanda’s work involves the design and delivery of strategic initiatives to advance access and participation for students systematically excluded from education. She is a fierce advocate for culturally responsive practice, racial justice and interrogating dominant narratives in the Australian higher education system.
