Anne Pakoa

Anne is a the Founder and CEO of the Vanuatu Human Rights Coalition, Founder and Technical Adviser of the Vanuatu Young Women For Change, CEO of the Vatu Mauri Consortium and Founder of Anne's Christian Community Health School and Nursing Services. She has worked with diverse Civil society Organisations and in particular the disapora communities for over 23 years. Due to her fight for development, social, economic and climate justice, she was awarded the 2015 US Ambassador women of Courage Award. In the same year, she received the Commonwealth Queen Fellow award. She is what the European NGOs ( CONCORD) said' a stronger voice for the Pacific Region. when she fought in the ACP/EU post cotonou negotiations. Today, Anne continue to fight for the rights of the poor and most vulnerable. She is a powerhouse!
