Ambassador Bhim K. Udas

Bhim Udas served the UN World Food Programme for 30 years from January 1981 to December 2010, in 8 countries, namely Pakistan, Rome, Armenia, Geneva, Jordan, Russia, Myanmar and Lesotho. He was also assigned temporarily to Albania, Iran, Iraq, India and Mozambique as acting Country Representative. The Government of Nepal appointed him as Ambassador to Myanmar where he served from May to to July 2021. He is the Founder of the NRN movement that started in 2001 from Moscow, and coordinated the first Global Nepali Conference held in Kathmandu in 2003 resulting the establishment of NRN Association. He is also the Founder President of the Former International Professionals of the Multilateral Organizations (FIPMO) Nepal established in January 2015. Mr. Udas was honoured with humanitarian medal by the Government of the Russian Federation in 2003.
