Sarah Hugo

Sarah Hugo is a Senior Consultant at DMA Global and has been working with diaspora organisations for over a decade as a specialist in the field of remittances, financial inclusion, diaspora investment and diaspora engagement.

Sarah’s core focus is on providing research and advisory services for private and public sector clients across many countries, mainly in Africa, MENA and Central Asia. She is experienced in conducting market diagnostics and mappings and developing Roadmaps and Toolkits. Sarah is an experienced Trainer including financial literacy training of trainers, a series of trainings with diaspora offices across Africa on how to engage with their diasporas; and workshops across government agencies on diaspora investment.

Sarah has a first-class degree in Economics and a Masters in Economic Development from SOAS, London.
