Pefi Kingi

Pefi is an active Pacific civil society member and leader from the Pacific region, born/raised in Niue, educated in Niue, Aotearoa New Zealand, USA and Australia. A human rights defender, a climate mobility advocate and an indigenous language activist. With a varied background in public, private and especially civil society. She carries the mandate for Pacific civil society as the Pacific Regional Civil Society Focal Point for Migration. A part of the global civil society Action Committee, Climate Migration and Displacement Platform and Migrant Women's Forum under Migrants Forum in Asia; a member of the non-state actor network under the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat; allied with the Pacific Islands Association of NGOs; and Pacific Youth Council.
