Spotlighting our GDWeek 2023 DO Speakers

We are delighted to shine a spotlight on the 80+ incredible lineup of speakers from diaspora organizations who will be taking the stage at the upcoming Global Diaspora Week (GDWeek) 2023, to be held virtually.

Their diverse backgrounds, unique perspectives, and leadership roles within their organizations promise to make this event an enriching celebration.

The Global Diaspora Week 2023 will be opened by Ms Amy Pope, Director General of International Organization for Migration (IOM), the UN Migration Agency and closed at the Global Diaspora Assembly by Ms Ugochi Daniels, Deputy Director General of International Organization for Migration.

This year's GDWeek theme of "Collective Diaspora Impact in the context of Global Partnership" resonates strongly with the work of our distinguished speakers as their leadership reflects the power of collaboration and showcases how the diaspora, as a collective force, can play a crucial role in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable world.

Register now and join our activities from 8 to 14 December via www.globaldiasporaweek.org/register.

For up to date information and behind-the-scene glimpses leading up to GDWeek 2023, follow us on our social media handles, and use the hashtag #GDWeek to reshare our posts, including your thoughts, connecting with fellow participants, and joining in conversations.

We look forward to welcoming you at the 3rd Global Diaspora Week!
